So March is right around the corner, again... and yet, it feels like the last one never ended. For me, the buzz from the New Year quickly wore off, perhaps even quicker than most other years and January dragged in, February has vanished in a puff (which I'm glad of), and Spring is approaching. I … Continue reading March Forever

The Quarantine Diaries: Losses
My mood is souring and has been over the last few days. The frustration of not being able to go anywhere of importance is still like banging my head off a wall, except now I'm aware of the futility of the action before I do it, i.e. I'm no longer thinking in terms of what … Continue reading The Quarantine Diaries: Losses
Persistent
I had so many plans, and yet... The tonsillitis refused to clear properly, I returned to work after my sick-line and finished my antibiotics. It was too much, I wasn't ready. Then I was off again. Then back again, and just as I started to think I knew what I was doing the confusion returned, … Continue reading Persistent
Figurative Ledges
So the summer is drawing to a close and there's not been much to speak of weather-wise. I've been working, studying, and beating myself up about all the other things I don't have time or energy to do - including blogging. I'm currently still in the process of recovering from the worst bout of Tonsilitis … Continue reading Figurative Ledges
I hate writing Covering Letters!

Covering … Continue reading I hate writing Covering Letters!
Woe is… Yodel.
So this week started off a lot more positively. I had a plan. I did my Italian exam on Monday and crammed the whole semester's work into a couple of solid study days. It seemed to work. Fingers crossed I've nailed it. I wrote a lot for the written half but it's just a matter … Continue reading Woe is… Yodel.

(I found this Blogging Challenge over on Pinterest, there's a watermark at the bottom so credit to whomever it's due to. These posts will be scheduled, but I'm hoping they'll help you get to know me a bit better in betweenĀ ranty posts and study-induced stress.) Day 1 - Your blog's name My blog's name came … Continue reading 30 day blogging challenge #day 1
Blogoversary!
So it's around a year since evallone.com happened and I'm thrilled with how my little site has developed in that time. Initially pre-domain name it did start as a blog of a recent graduate trying to find decent work in this pre-apocalyptic world, then evolved, backtracked and evolved some more! Tomorrow marks a year since … Continue reading Blogoversary!
Stupid English
The lack of a plural you in English is very annoying. And before anyone starts, I know that 'you' was the plural and 'thou' was singular. But it's not common practice anymore š¦ Can we invent a new one? Or just start using tu or something?
